WHO MAY PRACTICE MEDICINE AS A PHYSICIAN IN WYOMING?
A physician who has graduated from an approved medical program, at least 21 years of age, educated for at least one year in an accredited postgraduate training program in the U.S. or Canada, and has passed a national licensing examination is eligible to apply for a license to practice medicine in Wyoming.
Once the Board has determined eligibility, it then must decide if the applicant is qualified. Each applicant must complete, to the satisfaction of a majority of the board members, a personal interview consisting of an inquiry and response to medical knowledge, personal and professional history and intentions for practicing in this state prior to being granted a license.
